Mare is a singer-songwriter and producer from Genoa, Italy. Driven by a deep need for emotional expression, she began self-producing her music, captivated by the endless possibilities of sound. Since then, she has embarked on an ongoing journey to shape her own sonic identity, developing a distinctive and unmistakable musical language.

Raised between the waves of the Ligurian Sea and the influences of artists such as Björk, Massive Attack, and Luigi Tenco, Mare crafts a sound that moves between electronic and cinematic landscapes. Her lyrics—melancholic yet sharp and resolute—reflect a distinctly contemporary existential restlessness, exploring the depths of human emotion through an intimate and layered language.

In 2023, she released her debut EP, Ultramorfosi, an introspective work exploring themes of duality and transformation.

In 2024, she released the single Clessidre, which earned her the Ballerino Dalla Award for Producer at the CIAO Contest – Lucio Dalla Festival in 2025, while also marking her debut appearance on Italy's national broadcaster, Rai 1.

In 2026, she took part in the 37th edition of Musicultura and brought her project to stages across Italy and abroad, opening for artists such as Anna von Hausswolff.

She is currently working on her debut album.
